I’m Emily Sundberg.

I’m a writer and director based in New York.

I write a daily business newsletter called Feed Me.

I write for New York Magazine about things like the current state of retail, martinis, milk, Dimes Square, and Connecticut as a lifestyle. I’ve also recently written about Pierce Abernathy for HighSnobiety, tequila for GQ, twinning for ELLE, the cultural significance of mushrooms for The New York Mycological Society, TikTok for Interview Magazine, and love for The New York Times.

I directed and produced THE END, a film about the oldest privately-owned island in America. You can read about it here, and watch it here.

I created a show called Social Skills for Meta. I developed the first Instagram strategy for The Cut. I was the first hire at Great Jones, and developed a content strategy that was recognized by The New York Times, Fast Company, and Business Insider — social was the brand’s main revenue driver. Additional clients include Shopify, Julie, Row 7, New York Forever, TYB, BODY Vodka, The Six Bells, and Heyday Canning.
